WAIF 88.3 Radio Broadcast- Political View Call-Ins

WAIF 88.3 is an all-volunteer community radio station in Cincinnati that opens its airwaves to responsible, divergent points of view. The opinions expressed during their programs do not reflect the views of WAIF nor their staff, or Board Of Trustees. Their belief system is “diversity of opinion is not only tolerated, but encouraged”.  They are known through Cincinnati for giving women, minorities, union organizers, religious leaders, and “crazy young people” a platform to stand on, allowing people of any kind to host their own shows on a regular basis.

Here we have a 9 minute clip which begins with a song on the radio and is quickly cut to a young man accepting call-ins onto the station, discussing racial and political issues that were pressing back in 1998, topics in society that still exist today. This has been uploaded to our archive natively, and is on YouTube as well. Expect more audio excerpts from WAIF 88.3 in the near future.
