Plays Gospel Banjo is the 1988 follow up to 1987’s Daydream In Dixie, which is available on our site. This project credits Blaylock Music, INC. as the label, which was his parent’s banjo store on Hixson Pike in the 80’s. Crystal INC. once again did the manufacturing.
Here is a relevant 2024 interview discussing those days and how he came to own Sonny Osborne’s banjo. Brian has owned this banjo since April of 1984, and is holding the instrument on this album cover.
